Guest Speaker - Dawne Taylor-Gilders, Uptown Waterloo BIAUPCOMING EVENT:
Thursday, January 27 at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT

Join us for our January Zoom call as we hear from Dawne Taylor-Gilders of the Uptown Waterloo BIA.

About Dawne Taylor-Gilders:For thirteen years Dawne owned and published an all-positive, photographic view of our community and popular media outlet, creating a living memory of thousands and thousands of people and organizations which she considered a passion and privilege to amplify their causes and their “whys.”

I am married and a mother of two incredible, creative, funny people and one equally-awesome granddaughter. Nothing makes me happier than the sound of their laughter and capturing their smiles! Dawne loves to share with others, the things she sees through her lens and gets very excited if that comes across in her photography. She finds beauty in just about anything.

Welcome back, KWBWA!

After a short summer break we are resuming our wonderful networking group. I am excited to say that I will be serving as President for this term. I look forward to the year ahead. I didn't have much time to get to know everyone before the lockdowns, so I'm hoping that at some point we can resume regular in-person lunches so I have the opportunity to learn more about everyone. In my short time with this group I have seen the power of networking and I look forward to being part of continued growth for all of our represented local businesses.

Thank you to our previous President, Tiffany for setting such a great example. She left some big shoes to fill so I hope I can do the role the justice it deserves.

To a healthy and prosperous year ahead!

Rachelle Garcia
President, Kitchener Waterloo Business Women's Association
