If you are looking to expand your circle of influence and increase your business potential, join us for a luncheon meeting. Network effectively with business owners, entrepreneurs and other like-minded women. Learn from collective experience, knowledge and creativity of business women. It's an environment to learn, grow and connect. Membership with the KWBWA has numerous advantages including:
A weekly incentive is provided to encourage members to do business with one another and to provide leads for one-another's businesses.
Occasionally a trip, entertainment, sports activity, party or some other optional social event is planned to facilitate the building of camaraderie among the members. Additionally, we have our Annual Gala which is a member favourite!
Each member has an opportunity during our weekly lunch meetings to showcase their business; make announcements, discuss business news, and highlight upcoming promotions.
Monthly Business Meetings
Our "Members Only" formal business meeting during which our Board of Directors presents their reports and new members are voted in. Additionally, we have our annual Connect Networking Gala which is a highlight event celebration for members and guests.
Weekly Lunch Meetings
Our weekly lunches are a chance to connect with our members and guests, have a fantastic meal and listen to a career talk, a career update, panel discussion or an informative presentation by a guest speaker. Guests are welcome at all of our weekly lunch meetings.
Regular Lunches are on Thursdays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Holiday Inn, Fairway Road, Kitchener (Map)
Access to Member Services
Our members frequently use each others' services, purchase their products and recommend them to others.
Guest and Member Talks
Personal and professional presentations that offer learning opportunities and help you to become more familiar with your fellow KWBWA members.
Networking Lunches Out
Periodically we hold our meeting at a local restaurant, offer a new dining experience or to visit an established favourite! This allows the members to spend the meeting chatting and networking in an informal setting.
